DAY 01 ARRIVE BANGKOK

Transfer to hotel. Meet and transfer to hotel.

Day 2 : Sukhothai-Phrae-Phayao-Chiang Rai
Visit Sukhothai which was the center of Thai civillsation from about A.D. 1250 to 1365. Make a detour to Si Satchanalai, know far and wide for its Sankhalok stoneware,its classically beautiful architecture and beautiful Buddha images. Then travel to Phrae and visit the famous temple of Wat Phrathat Cho Hae with its 33-metre-high pagoda covered in thin gilded sheets. Continue to Chiang Rai via Phayao. Stay overnight at a hotel in Chiang Rai.(B.L,D)

Day 3 : Chiang Rai-Mae Kok River-Golden Triangle741 ,
Take a long-tail boat the Mae Kok River to visit Karen and Museum hilltribe villages.
Note: The boat journey takes about three hours in an uncovered,open long-tail boat.Passengers are advised to wear hats to protect themselves from the sun.
Then travel by road,visiting Wat ChediLuang in Chiang Saen and the Golden Triangle, the point where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar(Burna) and Laos meet. Relax and stay overnight at a superb moujtain resort in the Golden Triangle area.(B,L)

Day 4 :Golden Triangle-Chiang Mai
Travel to Chiang Mai by road along pictursque routes, passing beautiful northern mountains and valleys with a stop at a hot spring. Arrive Chiang Mai before noon and check in at a hotel. In the afternoon, visit a Meo hilltribe village and the sacred hilltop temple known as Wat Phraathat Doi Suthep.In the evening, enjoy a traditional-style dinner with northern folk dances.(B,L,D)

Day 5 : Chiang Mai
Visit the jungle area north of Chiang Mai City to see elephants at work and an orchid farm.In the afternoon visit handicraft factories and see Thai silk and cotton being woven on handlooms and the colourful paper parasols being painted at Bor Sarng. See also lacquerware teakwood carving and silverware makingBe sure to visit the busy night bazaar, packed with souvenir shopping bargains (B)

Day 6 : Chiang Mai-Bangkok
Morning is free for last-minute shopping. Afternoon fly to Bangkok and transfer to hotel in Bangkok.(B)
